As we get settled in to 2017, I find myself reflecting on 2016. There are a lot of things that happened. I was able to take my family on a trip I earned through Pampered Chef to Austin Texas, this was a highlight. There were deaths, weddings, roadtrips and camping trips. We had laughter, tears and memories made. There is one event though, that may have forever changed me. I found out who my birthmother was and I met her. This will make 2016 a year to remember for me. As I reflect on all I have enjoyed and endured in 2016, I find myself wondering how has meeting her changed me? There are moments when I still can't believe it happened and that it happened the way it did. In some ways, my life has been unaffected. In others, it has been changed forever. Learning of parts of my medical history, have been really helpful and a relief of sorts. Hearing my birth story from the one who was actually there. This healed some parts of me that were broken and also force
