I have been convicted a little while ago regarding how to let people we love know how much we appreciated them.
I was at a funeral.
It hit me, we usually only share what people mean to us when they are gone.
We share how their life has impacted us AFTER they have already passed.
I felt strongly that we need to tell people while they are ALIVE!
There are moments when we struggle, and sometimes knowing that our life has impacted another, enriched another, strengthened another, helps us find courage to continue.
I have written a few blogs for a few people already and want to take some time for a blog about Emily.
While she is one I tell how much I appreciate and often, I don't think she truly understands the impact her friendship has on my life.

Have you ever met someone who just saw you?
Like really SAW you.
From the first time we met and got to know each other (we were pre-teen) it's like my soul saw hers and recognized it.
I don't know how else to say it.
From early on in our friendship, Emily would know what was on my mind, in my heart and my thoughts, without me saying a word.
All this is extremely special and I am so thankful for those I have been able to share this kind of a connection with, the list is small.
With Emily, it goes a little farther.
Not only does she see what's in my heart, but she loves it, even when what she sees isn't good.
I am undeserving of her friendship and love.
But enough about that part, let me tell you how this woman inspires me and why I am lucky to know her, love her, and be loved by her.
As a Mother
This woman is so dedicated to her role as a Mom. She puts her all into instilling into her children the things that are most important. Not just in word, but in her own actions. There isn't a moment of "Do as I say, not as I do" with her teaching her children.
As a Wife
This woman supports her husband in all of his endeavors, no matter the cost to herself. She loves him, is his loudest cheerleader and his best partner.
Her passion for others
She loves helping others. In her home-based business, her passion is helping people find their healthier self. She's not driven by the need to make money, she genuinely wants to help others. She selflessly devotes time to those she doesn't even gain commissions off of, because she wants to help them reach their goals.
She is this way outside of her business too. If you are in need, she will figure out way to help.
I can't tell you how many times she has been there for me in times of need.
Her Light
Emily makes me want to be better.
Better at loving others.
Better at seeking truth.
Better in heart.
This woman holds a dear place in my heart and will forever be someone I am thankful for.
Emily, you are so loved, you have no idea!
